I was so excited when I received my first pair of these which were extra long because they were almost too long!!! I never have that issue. I kept watching for more extra longs to be available in my size but it looks like they are gone. So I gambled and ordered the longs which are almost 4 inches SHORTER than the XL? Not sure how those are still considered long and will be trying to return them. I am very disappointed they are no longer offering these in extra long...

I bought these pants in the gray and brown. They looked great the first time I wore them, and were very comfortable. But then, I washed them. Both pair shrank several inches, and now are the very definition of high waters. They also kept sliding down all day. Every time I stood up from my desk, I had to readjust them. Also, as I was walking I would have to keep pulling them. All in all, they are not worth the money because I only got a couple of uses out of them.

I am considered a 'plus size' girl, however I am right on the border between the regular sizing and plus size clothes at Maurices. Some may consider this a gift as I can shop on both sides of the store. (I am a size 16-18 bottom, 5'8'', size xl-xxl-size 0 tops). This review is my comparison of the regular sized pull on pants compared to the plus sized.

The plus size pull on pants I purchased in a size 0 Long charcoal. I think the fit was about the same as the regular size XL Long when I originally purchased them (before drying them and shrinking them). However the plus size fits so much more comfortably! The waist is slightly higher. The waist band is thicker (probably about 4" in comparison to maybe 2" in the regular sizings). They have not started to stretch out, and I have worn them for 3 days in a row! They do not wrinkle or crease, and the waistband has not rolled down. They look just as good on day 3 as on day 1. I will not make the mistake of drying them, and I am tempted to buy the Size 0 Extra Long off the website to ensure they stay long enough. (I am 5'8'').
For people deciding to buy the plus sized pull on pants, I would definitely recommend! Just don't make the mistake I did of drying these pants in your dryer if you don't want to lose inches in the length! I say they fit true to size.
You lose out on a few options of traditional trousers such as : belt loops, pockets. But these pants are so comofortable, they feel like yoga pants, but in a very flattering work appropriate material.

I originally purchased these pull on pants in a XL Long black. I made the mistake of drying them, not even completely, just slightly. They shrunk by inches at the hem.

I do not like the small waistband of these pants in the regular sizing. It always folds over when I am sitting down. They also stretch out during the day and start to fall down, to the point of me having to hold them up when walking to avoid my butt showing! They also come out of the washer extremely wrinkly.
For people deciding to buy the regular sized Pull on Pants, I would not recommend. Though the material is comfy and you do not have to deal with buttons/zippers, or anything else that could be uncomfortable for an office setting, you have to deal with wrinkles, a rolling waistband, and over-stretching!

I was really excited to find an online retailer who carries extended inseam sizes. I purchased the long inseam as a 36' or xlong is too long. The first day I wore them they fit great. After the first time I washed them, they shrunk about 3-4 inches and that was after washing in cold and hung dry. Not only that, but the waist now doesn't fit either. It sags and falls down and I've almost walked out into public with my pants halfway down my hips exposing my underwear. This was my first purchase with Maurices, and I'm not sure I will ever be back if this is the quality of clothing they provide.

Okay so, seriously...these are THE best pants I have ever bought for work. They are soooooooo comfortable! I will say before I bought them, I read the reviews online and was a lil sketch about buying them. I don't have a Maurices anywhere near me, so I was basing everything off of the reviews. I saw that a lot of people were saying they roll down or fall down through out the day. I do not have that problem at all. Mine stay up all day and are perfect. I will say that when I received them in the mail I was a little scared, because when I tried them on they were a little big and very long. I ordered a 2 regular and I am 5'2 and wear a size 22. I washed them in warm water as I do all of my clothes and threw them in the dryer. When I took them out and put them on, they had shrunk, but for me it was great. No joke the length shrunk about 2-3 inches and they were now snug fitting, like I had hoped they would be. I ordered 3 pairs to begin with, and just ordered 4 more. LOVE these!!

I tried these pants on in the store and was really impressed with how comfortable they were. The problem started about 20 minutes into my first day of wearing them when they wouldnt stay up. It is horrible to have to be constantly pulling them up. You can forget about being comfortable because all you want to do is put on different pants that actually stay up. Dont let the comfort factor sway you-it wont be that way for long!!

I own four pairs of these pants, and while I do mention a lot of Cons, I still think they're a worthwhile investment. They're comfortable enough to teach in all day, and flattering enough that I don't feel like a stereotype.

As a larger lady, finding a flattering fit for pants can be a problem, but these have not failed me. So far, I have found they last much longer when you hang them to dry - my oldest pair is over two years old now, and still going strong.

I really wish they came with belt loops, because I often have to pull them up. It seems to be a common issue.

Also, they really need to add more colors (especially light gray and khaki) for versatility - the "gray" looks black in most lights, and I would love to mix things up more often.

I tried these on in the store but there was no way to know that they'd slide down all day without actually wearing them to work! I, like other reviewers, tried other sizes but with no luck. Unless you have a butt to hold these up, AVOID THEM!
