It's so hard to find tall sizes in a 14 at Maurices...both online and in store. I bought these in the store on a day where luck was with me. I love the way these jeans fit and how gorgeous they look. If only they would have lasted. Rhinestones were falling off the back pockets with the first wear. I washed them inside out and still found rhinestones in my washing machine. I could deal with the rhinestones falling off because the jeans looked great, but then, one of the metal buttons on the back pocket came off. These aren't the kind of buttons you simply sew back on. No, these are the metal riveted kind that can't be fixed. So, now I have an expensive pair of jeans that are missing nearly all the rhinestones AND one of the back buttons so the pocket flap refuses to stay down. Disappointed. Such potential, but such a let down.

I am a BIG jean snob and rightfully so. I'm almost 5'10" and wear anywhere from a size 6 to a size 10 (depending on the severity of vanity sizing--I bought a 9/10 in this cut). I can never find jeans with a long enough inseam (34" minimum) that have a decent butt area, are not huge in the thighs (and/or waist), don't come down to my bum crack, and are under $100. This is my favorite pair of jeans!

Us tall ladies want to be cute and trendy too; yet, there seems to be an assumption that if you are tall you are either a) a supermodel or b) misshapen and dowdy. The patterns for tall jeans are almost never properly adjusted to fit us tall proportional women. These are. The pockets are proportional and flattering (the most important part of "cute" jeans). They will make your bum perky and non-mom-jeanish (i.e. the longer, more exaggerated size and the lower placement). The waist is low but not ultra low AND the back rises up. Furthermore, the waistband is snug (eliminating the immodest peekaboo bulge in the back) but not so much so that muffin-top occurs (thank you 2% spandex). The fabric is sturdy but soft and comfortable too.

The biggest test is that as a mother of 3 who teaches High School I get compliments from teenagers (gasp) who want to know where I got my jeans. Anything that can make these young-bodied whippersnappers want to wear my non-mom/non-Junior jeans passes the test. Thanks Maurices!

P.S. Add more cosmetic variations to this cut so I can buy more (and my butt can look good everyday)! ;)

I love the fit and feel of these jeans but the little rhinestone embellishments on the pockets are just glued on so they fall off... I have been finding them everywhere which tells me they have been falling off in the wash also. Which can lead to machine malfunctions..

Bought 3 pair for my girls and they fit perfectly. However the stones on the pockets fall off just walking around.

I typically LOVE Maurices jeans, but I was disappointed in the quality of this pair. The embellishment is beautiful, but after only a short time of wearing, the material stretched a great deal. Also, I always buy the long inseam & these are a more like a regular. Still love Maurices!

I absolutely love the fit and color of the denim. Just enough stretch to feel comfortable. I have a large rear and a small waist and it fit me perfectly. However, I followed the instructions and washed them inside out, and let the hang to dry since I am 5'11 and dont want anything to shrink up. Most of the bling/rhinestones fell off in the wash or my laundry floor when I hung them up. Now, I will have to pick off the remaining few to make them look right. I'm sure they will still be cute because of the silver stitching, but I purchased them because I like the bling.

These jeans are attractive although the front button is very hard to put on , the color faded after one wash into a not so nice blue, which I was disappointed about. They look nice on the body, tend to be alittle tight on the waist.
